 I am really liking the readings of One and Done and The house on mango street,One and done is a real life book that addresses real life problems which is one of the strengths of it ,I've noticed one of the weaknesses of one and done is the fact that he keeps going back to the football games play by play and drags it out.The weaknesses of The house on mango street is that some of the chapters in the book don't really have any meaning and don't push the story forward.

Something Important I've noticed in One and Done is that during his early life(CHAPTERS 1-4) Maurice had a lot of brushed with death and didn't have anyone near him that really cared apart from his mom ,he developed such a good relationship with his coaches because they were one of the first figures in his life that really cared about his future.
